All women are insecure about themselves and their shape (with various grades). To succeed in a date, you need to make them feel comfortable about who they are and how they look.
All compliments should be genuine and, if asked, can be explained.
That means things like: bringing them in a nice place, listening (not advising), smile and flatter. You can also cook for them, draw, handwrite a letter. Finally, trying to look nice is also a sign that you care.
Do all of that and you should be good.
