I need to get some advice from men and women that over 25 yrs of age about this relationship.?

I just meet this man a few days ago. I want to tell him. It not a good time for me to be in a relationship. For the following reasons, I am about to relocated for a new change. I will be living in a shelter and will be in a job program for women and my daughter who is under 6yrs old.

I had been out work since the beginning of this year. Make a big change I had to take time off. I work 2 jobs and save most of my income for traveling.
He asked me did I want him to move up there with him. I told him if up to you. Later on that evening, I did some thinking.
We both going to be new in the area. Most shelters it either for men or women or you have to be married. I don’t believe in marry no one until I get to know him well.
He a Katrina victim, He waiting on his birth certificate, he cant get a real job until he get his birth certificate, and he get his ID and Social Security Number. That one of my concern he don’t have no documentation .He also lives in the park (into the streets).

Your conerns about his situation are very valid, plus it’s way too quick to be thinking seriously about someone when you’ve just met. The biggest factor is to get you and your little girl back on track before you enter into anything with anyone else. You and your daughter can only respect you if you make it on your own and pull yourself out of your troubles independently. It is flattering to have him so interested in you, but please keep your priorities straight, which is your little girl first, and then …you! The timing is not right at this point to involve anyone else in your little family, let alone someone who hasn’t much to offer to you, and whose history seems a bit spotty. Best of luck to you!
