1, man and woman in relationship. both have feelings for each other.

2, Man scared of getting hurt due to previous relationship ending 4 years ago.

3, Man starts messing woman around hot and cold then admitted it was cause of getting hurt.

So they come to a conclusion that maybe he should go off and sort out issues. as woman already hurt by his actions.

Why would he walk away and not say bye when it ended good terms. They have agreed no contact for time being.

Is he just hurting his self or do you think he will be back

Well for one this man takes everything on face value, like most men do. They don’t realise that what women say and what they mean and what they feel are actually 3 different planets! He just took you at face value when you would have decided not to see each other. He was being sincere to that decision. Whereas you expected him to say bye, why? Just let him be, if he truly loves you he shall return otherwise it wasn’t meant to be.
